On 8 November 2024, Adamas Biotech® obtained official registration from the Italian Ministry of Health for Theakine® Prost, the first food supplement based on green tea catechins (Theaphenon E®) developed for prostate well-being and associated disorders.
The supplement, marketed as Theakine® Prost, represents an important step forward in natural prostate support and is based on clinical studies conducted by Professor Saverio Bettuzzi, which demonstrated the product’s efficacy in reducing lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
The official registration of Theakine® Prost with the Italian Ministry of Health will enable Adamas Biotech to take an important step forward in its commercial development strategy. Cube Labs — the startup’s venture builder and shareholder — will support the company in identifying a strategic partner active in the urology food supplement sector and interested in acquiring a license to distribute the product. Adamas Biotech® does not currently plan to commercialize Theakine® Prost directly, but will instead focus on establishing collaborations with qualified commercial companies and distributors to bring the product to market.
