The Startup Secures €425,700 in Funding
Adamas Biotech® has received official confirmation of the grant award from the National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC), Italy’s first national research and innovation center dedicated to biodiversity and coordinated by the National Research Council (CNR). This recognition follows the final reviews conducted by the Implementing Entity, marking a further step forward for the startup’s innovation projects in the healthcare sector.
Adamas Biotech® has been awarded a non-repayable grant of €425,700 for a project with a total budget of €597,500. The project focuses on the development of an innovative nutraceutical, combined with a digital platform, aimed at improving gut health and supporting patients affected by irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
The project, which forms part of the initiatives funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Next Generation EU, is scheduled for completion by 31 August 2025, with a possible extension through 31 December 2025.
